Board of Directors
Like all international schools in the Kingdom, Pakistan International School, Al-Khobar, operates under the
authority of Saudi Ministry of Education. Saudi Ministry of Education administers the international schools
through the elected/nominated representatives of the parents of students studying in international schools, who
serve as board of directors/management councils of the schools.
Starting 1996 the above arrangement for the supervision of international schools in the Kingdom is in place.
The current management council of Pakistan International School, Al-Khobar, was appointed in October 2007 by the Saudi
Ministry of Education on the nomination of H.E. the Ambassador of Pakistan who is the Patron-in-Chief of
the School. This council is representing the parents of the students studying in this school, and on their behalf
and in accordance with the charter of the Saudi Ministry of Education and the guidelines of the Embassy of Pakistan,
is overseeing
the school's academic, administrative, and financial management.
This latest
Administrative Committee includes the following members:
